I posted this image earlier this year in the Landscape Gallery, but I could not resist posting it again for this week's challenge. This view looks out over the Cranberry Isles off the coast of Maine.

I love sunset shots and this is a lovely one, Carol. I like the way the glow of the setting sun backlights the hills in the foreground. Quite interesting cloud and color combinations in this; one never knows what show the sky will put on at each sunset. :smile: I also like the silhouette of the flying bird in the top left; it helps add interest to that part of the sky.

It's a lovely image with good sunrise colors and, of course, that gull silhouette. Speaks wonderfully of a peaceful sunrise at the beach.

The black in the forest and the flame colored cloud give this an ominous feel for me. The gull certainly helps tie the image together. Very graphic and striking anyway.

Really like this Carol, love the glow at horizon & lone bird ULC.
Your great timing has captured those magical moments when the light and sunset colors all come together. Nice!!
