I do not think a flower can be more blue than this Geranium. This plant is flowering al summer long on my balcony. I always like the stamen and antlers pointing out together in a bunch.

Awesome colors caught against the dark BG. You've inspired me to get off my duff and go capture some of our wild ones which are in full bloom right now. Nicely done.

Ellen - Don't recall seeing a Blue Geranium here so its interesting for me. Your compositional choice reminds me of an Umbrella or a colorful Fan. Love the pin sharp focus for the anthers as well.

Terrific look at this little flower. I really like the angled flatness of the petals and how the central parts stand up so strongly.

Really like how you've isolated the flowers stamen/antlers in the frame, great point of focus.
Excellent colors, POV, and comp.
Beautiful work Ellen :wavey:

Ellen:
Beautiful and bold composition. Like the pose of the flower with the upright stamens. The echo of blue in the bg is just perfect. Very well done :toast:

Ellen, one must open the larger photo for appreciating the beauty of this soft portrait of the little flower. I love it.
Take care.

A beautiful perspective on the flower, Ellen, with great sharpness in the centre and a lovely softness surrounding it. The lighting is delightful.
