Lions Guarding

This was a scene I couldn't pass up while I was out driving.

I used this image for a blog article about "How to Work a Scene." I shot multiple, potential angles, and pointed out why a specific angle or shot wouldn't work.

The premise, few photographers can walk up to a scene, snap a shot, look at it, and say, “Yea, that’s it” and move on. Another way of saying it is: "Have you ever struggled with a shot?"

Image shot with Nikon D300, 18-200mm lens, manual mode, ss = 1/90 and f/10.

Superb execution Rick. Composition, colors and detail are wonderful. Great work in my opinion.
