Frilly Pansy

Here is another of the small pansy with frilly edges. This one seems to incorporate most of the suggestions made on the last post... on an angle, and a little sharper.

Again, 7D with 100-400 IS lens with 500D macro filter, handheld.

Comments welcomed.

Patricia:
Another excellent shot of these Pansy. I can't help comparing this with the previous post and I find this one a little static; I like the sense of movement and dynamic flow of the previous post.

Patricia - I would rate your previous effort higher compared to this one but I like the wavy patterns here. The dew in the previous shot added much to the aesthetics.

I agree with Ram. I like the angled comp in this version, but I miss the dew and being able to see the center.

Beautiful flower with great colors, sharpness, and lines. Your positioning in the frame works very well.

I have to agree with Ram and Scott. But I do like the composition of this one better.

Beautiful 'frilly' image. Makes me think of a lovely frilly dress I had as a child.

I had to peak back at the prior, and agree about the points made above. I do like the sharp frills here.
