The New Zealand Tui numbers are increasing in our area as people are planting trees that both attract and feed them. They are native to NZ and have a beautiful call. They are also extremely quick and hard to get a good shot of, so I was really pleased to get this one.

Toya, thanks for sharing this very nice photo of a bird I had not seen a photo of before your post. Good pose you caught this bird in as well as nice surroundings. Thanks again for shairng.

Very pretty bird. I like the pose, perch and background. It feels too tight in the frame for me. I would also like to see the subject further to the right in the frame to help with the overall balance of the image.

Nice lookback pose. The bird is a bit big in the frame for me and I would do a slight blur on the BG.

Excellent detail on the bird. Nice pose. Nice colorful pech and good bg. I agree with Keith about putting the bird further to the right in the frame.

Beautiful detail, clarity and light. I agree about wishing for a bit more room in the frame, with the bird to the right a bit.

Pretty fancy throat on this fellow. Nice work. I agree that it's a bit tight. If you have more pixels, I'd give it a bit more room at the top, left and bottom.

Gorgeous bird, very well photographed. Excellent isolation of the bird from background - not easy to do with a 300. Only suggestion from me would be a little more room top and bottom if you have it.

Beautiful bird with excellent detail. My taste would be to crop a bit off the right & add a bit top, left & bottom if you have it.
