I am trying to get the pollen grains resolved better. This is the best I have as of now but I know I can better this.
I lost my cable release (Mosquito repellant leaked from the container and ate away all the plastic on the release inside my camera bag) and I have bought a new one (MC-36) this week. Pressing the shutter release by hand introduces a shake making the focus go haywire. I am planning to shoot this with 68mm of ET with my 105mm lens for a higher magnification.
ND300s, AFD200mm Micronikkor with 36mm of ET, F/16, 1/40 Sec, ISO400 and Tripod and perhaps a diffuser also.
Thanks a lot for your comments on
Oriental Poppy and do let me know your thoughts on this one.

I like the detailed look at the flowers main structural parts center stage, beautiful!
Lovely image. The grains look fine here so I will be waiting to see you best this. Perfect plane of focus management and I also like the radiating lines and the green star in the bg.
I remember you saying that mosquitoes are really bad where you are. I am sure I will have great difficulty venturing out there and taking the time to set up the shot (tripod, plamp, diffuser etc) since I am allergic to DEET and will surely be eaten alive.
