This is a pair of miniature salmon colored roses, with gladiola leaves background. Shot just as they occur in our garden.
F/10, 1/200th, ISO 200, 1D M3, Sigma 150mm f/2.8 + Kenko 1.4x ext. Natural morning light around 11:00am filtered through our pecan tree..

Howard, I really like the feeling of this image. It is very soft and inviting. The colors, dof and comp. are great.

Very nice, Howard. I like the salmon buds against the green BG, the overall soft look, and the resulting mood. Initially, my feeling was that this would work even better with the glad leaves, but I've changed my mind.

Howard - Salmon pink/orange is what it is - beautiful color. Though not a critique per se, for my bias, I'd have liked a bit more DOF for the rear flower but I do understand it would take away the soft feel. Angular placement of Glad leaves makes the composition dynamic

Howard:
Love the softness of the image and the diagonal lines in the bg. Color on the blooms is true to live.

A slight crop from FF with a "bit" of added contrast & < brightness, with one degree CCW rotation.
Also sharpened differently, manually selecting out the whole center diagonal segment with flowers...

nice, refreshing colours. The leaves make a nice contrast to the roses.

Lovely comp and colours Howard, a touch more focus in the BG bloom would have made this even more special. :wavey:

Howard: Fantastic work with the high mag rig. A touch more DOF to get the upper bud sharp would suit me a little better but this looks pretty darn good to me. Really well done.>=))>
