A severe thunderstorm pounded the Greeley region in northern Colorado, east of Interstate 25. The strong thunderstorm produced large hail, damaging winds, heavy rain, and a few brief tornado touchdowns. After the storm moved southeast toward Denver International Airport, frequent lightning remained over the Greeley region for a few hours.

This was a super fun night, I had a recap posted in the RMNP forum on here. Large hail, heavy rain, and very frequent lightning!

The split of sky to land really enhances the power of this shot. Nicely captured.
