This one was dug out of my archives, had done this last year ...A sunbird on a "lions ear" plant. Was particular to include the left bottom plant. It was a cloudy day and at about 9:30 in the morning.

7D, 100-400

Thanks NPN for your support..

Interesting composition, not sure you needed the other plant. Nice positioning of the bird and the plant. They both stand out well IMHO. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice of the bird and plant. Why did you want to include the OOF plant in the LL?

Very good look at a bird and plant foreign to me. I especially like it that you included the oof plant at left. Otherwise I'd be left thinking that the perch was one of the strangest bird feeders ever! A most unusual and interesting plant. Nice work, Balan. I do think I'd clone out the bit of plant at bottom center edge...

Great pose and perch Balan, I don't mind the oof plant and it does add some balance to the image but I would crop out the bit of orange plant at the very bottom center of the frame. :toast:

Nice image Balan, I enjoy you compositions a lot. I agree with John that the other flower and also the touch of flower at the bottom of the stalk might be eliminated. I like the stalk going up through the image with the flower and sunbird standing out against a beautiful bg that is OOF.

I agree with Phil on why the inclusion of the llf branch and the partial flower on bottom of the stalk.
