Hi Nancy, An interesting piece of photo art you've made with this. The image seems a bit over sharp to me and quite noisy in the bg, I wish you had included a larger image to be able to better evaluate it. Also there seems to be small almost aqua spot in the middle of the flower head that could be easily cloned out. But it is a nice composition and the flower has interesting character with the petals not all fully open.

Jazzy is right. The saturated processing pushes the colors into the surreal territory for this flower, but I assume that this is your intention, and your processing therefore falls under artistic impression. I like the off center comp and excellent detail where it counts. The noise in the background is a little distracting.

I absolutely love the surreal look to this image, and your treatment of the flower. If it were mine, I would simply address the noise issue of the green background on the left. The flower is like a flower in a dream - even better than reality!

I like this very artistic look. The light on the yellow petals works so well.
