Here's a shot from last summer out at Hood Canal, WA. I'm looking forward to getting back out there this weekend when the numbers of birds should be good because of the tides. This is cropped to vertical, it's about 55% of FF.

Nate, nice flight-pose on this eagle. I also like the mountains in the background, they seem to give a glimpse of the bird living in its environment.

I really like the pose and wing position. He looks majestic and the mountains add the finishing touch. Very nice.

Very impressive flight shot Nate. I really like the banking pose, his position in the frame and the suggestion of distant mountains in the background. Can't ask for much more. I can understand why you want to head back out to this location.

Someday I'll get to where these magnificent birds fly..
Until then I'll just have to drool at wonderful images like this one.
Everything looks very nice Nate. Perhaps a "touch"more contrast is my only suggestion..
And I had to dig deep for that one

Very nice Nate. I might pop the whites a bit by bringing the white point down in levels to about 230 while boosting the mid point to about .85ish, but great pose and eye contact. The lower contrast as you've chosen to do it really lends well to the misty feel of the BG. Well done.
