Had some good morning light (for a change) at Bolsa Chica Wetlands. I like the leader with following formation of this image.

7D with 300mm 2.8L
handheld
1/1000 at f / 6.3
ISO 320

Cropped to 60% of original. Took some off the top and bottom. Wish there was more room on the left.

Very cool "squadron" of Skimmers! Very interesting, the type of photo I would hang on a wall. Nice gradations of color and tone in the water. Excellent work!!! :toast:

These last two shots I've looked at are amazing Harry, hat's off to ya.
Love the reflections and this formation.."Follow the Leader" comes to mind as an obvious title
Nice! :toast:

A beautiful grouping of birds, I really like how there's one lead bird and then a bunch behind it. I don't think you need anymore room on the left. This would have been all world if the birds on the right just had a bit of separation between each of them, but nothing you could do about that, sweet shot Skip :toast:

What a cool formation. Having the "leader" out in front really helps.

Very nice grouping, Harry, especially considering you have seven birds and only one overlap. As for the space on LHS, you should easily be able to add some canvas. Nice work and not an easy thing to do.
