I really like the flow of this image. The winding path created by the main stream of water is excellent. I would prefer to see a bit more detail in the white areas of the water, but this is entirely subjective.

I like the comp, but the water is too hot/blown for my tastes--would like to see more texture there. I disagree with Scott that this is "subjective" Sure, some folks may prefer overexposed shots--but overexposure is objective, you can see it on a histogram. The question is--why overexpose? How does it achieve your artistic goals?

Thanks for the comments. I took a look at the histogram and the whites are not blown out but are a little overexposed so I brought the recovery slider in lightroom all the way to the right. Seems to look a little better but I think it has this look of being blown out because of the contrast of the b/w conversion.

Beautiful B&W Todd, very nice composition, love the soft blurred water! Blurred white water often looks "blown out" when in fact it is not--its just that the detail has been blurred out. To me it looks like the water is almost glowing, which I find very beautiful. As you said, its subjective!

Interesting comp. I would love to see more details in the water.
