Walking along the shore of Lake Almsee in Upper Austria a few weeks ago, I admired and enjoyed this peaceful scene. The mixture of elements and colors was amazing to me.

Well composed and good color. I like the framing arch overhead.

Very nice, Peter. This does look like a window to paradise to me. I like the natural looking colors and especially enjoy the wonderful feel this image has...inviting and peaceful. The water looks great too! This makes me wish I was there. Really nice work...

The framing upper branch really works here. Could maybe see cropping a bit of the light areas from the top edge. Below the branch is surprisingly interesting. I think the water portion soft of simplifies things in a nice way.

Beautiful Spring greens. And, a nice glow from the lighting. Well done.

Peter, I'm a little surprised this didn't get more comments. Well, it is a wonder image anyways. I do agree with Tony about making a small crop just to get rid of the brightest sky right on the top edge. After looking for a while and thinking about it and doing a scroll crop it looks good that way to me. A small thing but I think it helps. Cheers, Nick
