The photomatix tonemapping totally ruins it for me....more photo art than photo. The CA is also pretty rough on the edges.
Don't get me wrong though, there are plenty of people that totally dig this type of editing. Some people even make money selling prints like this. Something for everyone.

I agree that the HDR doesn't do the scene justice. However, there is a dramatic look to the scene that would work for certain uses. The color band in the upper right bothers me for some reason.

This is what I'm talking about... that is why I love this NPN. Now go rework the image with less HDR and repost it again in a new post. Then post this one after the new one. That way members can see the diffrence in the two images.
