Indigo Bunting

So my new Canon 5D Mark III arrived late last week to replace my trusty 1D Mark IIN. It's hard to replace such a great camera but it was time for a sensor upgrade with better performance in low light. I went out today to give it a test drive and literally couldn't get away from the indigo buntings. I went to 3 different places and they were seemingly everywhere. Funny thing is when I got home there was one on the ground beneath my bird feeder.

My initial response to the new camera..awesome. The AF is fast & good, the frames per second in perfect for my taste (I usually went with the low drive on my 1D anyway) This isn't one of my best indigo bunting shots but I thought I'd post an image from my 1st shoot with the new toy.

Looks very nice Kirk, nice clean contrasting BG & a great pose.
The techs look right on the money, excellent clarity.
I especially like the raised chest plumage I see here :toast:
