Thank you all for the feed back on Broken Light.
Here is the the other photo from the eclipse that I liked. Although I was not exactly on the total annularity line, I was close enough that it can hardly be discerned. The annular ring of of light lasted abut 4 minutes. It was quite moving seeing the sun and moon move together through the sky. It was as if time itself had stopped. The hundreds of people at Turtle Bay Wild Bird Sanctuary, next to the Sundial Bridge in Redding, where I dropped my tripod, even though I decided not to be close enough to see them all on the bridge, I definitely heard them all when it went complete.
What I found interesting about this photo in particular was the red orange halo that formed through the clouds. I am wondering if this is a diminished spectrum or just processing artifacts.
Nearly the same camera settings as my last image.

Fabulous shot. I have not seen an event like this personally but it must be some sight. Of the two, I like Broken Light better.
Although the grids or banding from the artifacts is a little rough and the darker portions of the image. Perhaps some fine noise reduction tuning or blurring of the sides of the image can fix that.
