This was taken in "horse country" while traveling through Virginia in the fall. I had posted this awhile back in the Man & Nature gallery. Thought it fit this theme well.
Panasonic DMC-FZ28. 6mm at F/8 for 1/8 sec. ISO 100.

Fall colors and fencing are great in combination as shown here. A feast for the eyes.

Love, love this comp, Carolyn! Really suits the theme for sure, but aside from that, the image says so much to me: Autumn, serene, colorful. The best part is that it is the absolute best photo about horses without a horse to be seen!

When I saw the thumbnail my first thought was, where's the horses. It screams "horse country"

Lovely fall scene with the white fence leading the viewer's eye around the image. Nice colors and composition. Beautifully
done!

I love the way the fences lead the eye all through the image. It's as if you're on a horse ride through the scene without leaving your computer screen!

I like the curve in the image. Very graceful. The near/far relationship is strong as well. I seldom see rural lands that are this well cared for.

The white fence and the gold leaves make a nice color combo. The path and fence curving under the trees are effective leads. Also noticed is that the angle of the foreground limb and curve of the trunk match the path.
