Fence and Flower

I am jumping in a little early for this weeks challenge because I will be leaving early tomorrow morning for Rocky Mountain National Park and will be gone a week. On top of the Buttes at Cedar Canyon is a meadow with an old fence running through it from the ranching past. I have taken several images using this fence. I appreciate any and all comments and critiques.

Richard, this is gorgeous. What beautiful light! And the flower is just terrific.

When I first saw the thumbnail I thought, "Interesting fence" but when I opened the image I saw the flower. That flower makes this image for me! The fence has lots of character and I like all the different angles. However that flower grabs your eye almost immediately. The fence and grasses are similar brown which just makes this brightly colored flower pop. Nice find.

The lighting is great, but the fence needs to be told not to beat on the flowers. Carolyn's right, the flower makes the image.
