Or Hyacinthoides hispanica. Finally found one plant in the local garden in an obscure place. Found this flower really interesting after seeing some of Carolyn's work. The background yellows come from Dyer's Woad or Isatis tinctoria.

ND300s, AFD 200mm F/4 Micronikkor, F/8, 1/50 Sec, ISO100 and Tripod - shot very early in the morning.

Thanks a lot for your comments on Tulip Abstract-4 and do let me know what you think of this one.

Expertly captured and processed, Ram. The contrasting soft BG is perfect for the subject. :toast:

Nice job on the plane of focus Ram. Very nice use of color in the back ground too.

Glad you could find this flower, Ram. I would gladly give some to you if you were here; they rapidly expand in my flower bed. Wonderful comp with the curved stem; very nice blurred background, and great lighting and colors.

Ram:
The thumbnail does not reflect the beauty and perfection in this shot. No one managed their bg as well as you and this is a fine example of that. :toast:

Just excellent Ram. No nits from me. I like everything from the comp to the DOF to the complementing gradient BG.
