Happy Mother's Day to all of you Flora moms out there. I know Chrissy likes frilly things so here is a shot of one of our more prolific and photogenic day lilies. We have really had a great spring bloom and I hope to get some more posts up soon. All comments welcome. >=))>

A great shot of the group. One of my favorite prime lens Bill. :wavey:

Very nice group shot Bill. I like it. We planted some bare-root day lillies this year, so I am not sure how many blooms to expect out of them - but I am looking forward to seeing. Nice DOF and a nice grouping of blooms.

Bill - Thanks for reminding me of these Lilies  - we are at least 2-3 weeks from seeing these bloom. Terrific grouping here - each Lily center almost occupying the thirds position in the frame. The vibrant yellows in the throat are a pleasure to see.

Wish the petal did not obscure the center of the Lily on the left top but that is nature.

What a great frilly lily gathering! Wonderful soft colors in this, nice details, and a pleasing frame-filling comp. Nice one, Bill.

BIll:
I am always envious of people with growing their own flowers in their gardens. Virtually all my flowers are taken in public gardens or bought.

The frilly edge reminds me of ruffle cut potato chips and I am feeling hungry now. Might consider cloning the white blemish on the center petal as it is in such a prominent position.

Nicely composed, Bill - love the swirls radiating through the frame. Looks like you have a lovely collection of lilies in bloom.
