WC 533 - Fog

I took this last week, roughly 1/2 hour before sunrise. The location is Monument Rocks NNL, in western Kansas. A couple of hours earlier, heavy fog had rolled in from a nearby creek. This was the first time I had seen fog here. I considered leaving more of a blue tint, but settled on this color balance. 7D, ISO 800, 5 sec, f/8. C&C always welcome and appreciated.

I like how the fog makes everything monochromatic in this image. Fog can add such an air of mystery; that combined with the unusual rocks makes for a great image, Rob.

Looks like Kansashenge to me. Love the mystery as the formations disappear into the fog and the light to dark transition across the sky.
