No Moon
by Richard Teller
My wife and I went out last night to hoping to get some images of a huge red moon coming up over the horizon between some buttes on the prairie, but this is what we had. Early evening the clouds starting moving in and covered everything. This is the western horizon about the time the moon should have been coming up. It was dark and we were heading home when I saw a bright light in a slit in the clouds in the east. I pulled over and the moon came out in a brake in the clouds for a minute or two, but not in a any position to give me any good shots and disappeared again into the darkness. It was an awesome sky to watch develop and move though. This a pano of six images stitched and processed in PSE9. All C&C are welcome and appreciated.
