Trillium Woods

Trying to experiment with focus stacking with trillium that like to dance in the spring is a challenge. Well, I would be dancing too if this were my chance to bloom in the spring. Yes, I know that there is a little movement in several of the trillium. I apologize too for the harsh light. The woods gets dark very quickly. Such a pure white flower and if you look closely you may find a prized morel mushroom. Took out a little distortion in the trees - I hope. Still trying this new things that I learn about from others on this website.

Three images stacked. Would like to try this again maybe tomorrow if the weather cooperates. Thanks for looking and for the comments.

I don't think I've ever seen so many of these flowers in one place before. Grear image that is easy to wander around in for my eyes. Nicely composed and very nice exposure.

Tom, this is a convincing capture of the spring atmosphere to me. Excellent technique and appealing composition in my opinion, I really enjoy your image.

This is very nice, Tom, and something that I imagine would work quite well for focus stacking. My only thought might be to get a little more light and contrast in the bottom half of the frame.

Sweet idea Tom. I like it. I do think the leaf litter is a distraction (been there, done that) and the middle ground doesn't look sharp. It's definitely worth shooting again though.

Thanks all for the comments. I do make note of the comments and continue to strive to improve. Unfortunately, I think that since I took this photo a 9 days ago, it has been cloudy and rainy almost every day. No chance to re-shoot. Well, there is always next year - I hope. Thanks again for the comments.
