White Arch

I thought this arching white stem had a little something special when I shot it last month..What do you think?
It flowers in the spring, and produces red berries in the fall.
Darned if I can remember what she calls it
F/14, 1/500th, ISO 400, 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 + Kenko 2x from my window..
Sunny & slightly breezy, mid-morning shooting conditions.

Very nice light and nice composition Howard, I like that last sprig of flowers dropping off and under the branch on the left. I think this is a type of Viburnum (High Bush Cranberry) and the only reason I may know that is that cedar waxwings love to eat their berries in the fall where I live.

Love the curve formed by the bloom laden stem, Howard  - strong directional light handled well without blowing out the whites on a clean background. Good work.

A very homely subject in some ways but, yes, a bit special when photographed like this, Howard. The green bg works amazingly well in setting off both leaves and flowers. Nice !!!
