Early morning just before sunrise as the lagoon at Ft. DeSoto was waking up to hungry birds. I'd have liked a little more of a head turn to the right, but this was what was offered.

Gold-plated, Charlie! The angle, the detail, the lifted foot, the water motion, the struggling prey—oh, well done!

Charlie,
We all have wishes for most of the images that we capture and getting a little bit more of a head turn towards you would have been great but it does nothing to detract from the image. The splashing prey makes a big impact to me. You sure made the most of the available light with one Charles.

Good work with what the Willet gave you. A fine action shot with impressive composition.

Facing away a bit, but what a great shot of this willet with crustacean. I love the lighting and the simple blue of the water. Great action with the disturbed water and splashes.
