White-tailed doe on her hind legs, "directing traffic" in an assertive behavioral display..
The male's just out of the frame looking for cover
PS - I entered this on Sunday for the "Funny Animals" weekly theme.

That is one bossy deer; it looks like she's telling him just what she "thinks about that"! Unusual position to capture; good find, Howard. Good focus on the deer with a nicely blurred background.

Ha :jump: ! Really funny pose you caught her doing! Nice detail in the fur, and good catchlight in the left eye. Awesome image, Howard!

Howard, PERFECT for the theme, "Funny Animals"

Good title. Would also be funny with many human quotes for this posture and attitude. (like "Watch your step, Buster!" or "Yes, your honor, I CAN point out the perpetrator -- He's sitting right there!") I bet a contest for quotes to go with this image would be hilarious. :jump:

Great shot and perfect for the theme! My only nit is I wish the front hoof was more in focus but that can be almost impossible when the animal is moving too fast.

Fabulous split second capture! I'm fascinated with how animals and birds usually seem to be frowning when we take their pictures. If it wasn't for the frown, she might be saying "pleased to meet you". I've seen this dominance behavior often, but never come close to a quality picture. Great job. :toast:

The angle on this is both funny and amazing. I believe she is saying, "Go ye unto all the world and plant rose bushes".

Hi Howard :wavey: Another great contender for best picture   I first thought this was a kangaroo, nothing special  But a doe on her hind legs :jump: looks like she is giving a course on photo shop to NPP members

Great shot and congrats on the WP. I like the esophageal character of her stretched neck.
