Laurel Creek Confluence
by Bill Leggett
This was taken on my recent visit in GSMNP. I had a bit of trouble working out a decent comp, so this is about the best I could manage. An unknown branch comes in from the left. I was standing on a rock with the tripod in the water. I would have preferred framing a bit more to the left, but the road is just out of frame there. I'm not entirely sure of the color balance but thought this looked fairly close.

The color balance looks right to me, but take that with a grain of salt! A beautiful scene and very sharp and detailed. I like it!
