Beautiful greens and the (almost) starburst shaped splash in the center is a powerful focal point.

The greens are lovely and I agree with Nancy Lea about the starburst splash. I don't think the brush and trees at the top are helping, so I'd suggest a crop slightly above the furthest rocks.

I don't know how far you've ever gone up McCord, Daniel, but this reminds me of just before the brush and a whole lot of good stuff. It disappears into an impressive old-growth forest about 30-45 minutes past the top of the upper falls and this looks like the bramble patch right before that. The whole creek is very good for photography up to about 2-3 hours/miles past the top of the upper falls, through that forest. Certainly something I'd do come about the 3rd week of May.

Thanks Marc. I knew that things opened up after a bit but wasn't sure how much more bushwhacking I'd need to do to get there.

nicely processed colors and water flow. my opinion would be to keep the current crop. the darker greens do a good job of balancing the image.

Daniel, I especially like the way you show the dynamics of the flow. Your inclusion of the surroundings makes for a very good framing in my opinion.

Daniel, I think this is really nice, and for me this comp works very nice. Great movement of the water and I like the green tones with the moss almost glowing. I think this would look especially nice against a dark background. Nice work.

Funny Daniel, I was here scouting around today! We are bound to run into each other soon enough. The water levels out there were INSANE! I like what you have caught here. Nice job.

The fan-like spread of water works well in the foreground. Nicely done.

Very nice. The expanding water texture is a great focal point.

All that green makes for some great contrast with the moving water, nice shot.
