Headwaters--Silken Folds

Sometimes its tough to come up with a name, but I thought this one looked a bit like folds of colorful fabric. I like the obvious movement of the water over the spreading branches of the aquatic plant. In response to suggestions on my last post, I've increased contrast and saturation both for this one. Critiques always welcomed. Thanks for looking.

A beautiful abstract, Nancy, with a remarkable array of color, line and form. The diagonal provides nice movement for the eye and I like how the discernible plant in the upper right provides a grounding point while the rest of the image is a sea of light and color. Love the processing on this. A really nice addition to your Headwaters portfolio.

Great combination of colors and lines, and the small plant in the upper right is a nice addition to the scene. Nicely done.

Really like the organic quality to this, Nancy. I feel I'm looking at something on the cellular level.

Funny how that plant in the upper right helps ground the photo so much. I love the rich colors! Very nice Nancy.

The name fits: it does look like folds of a silk scarf. That's pretty. I especially like how the blues and greens come out in this. Neat.

Awesome. So much going on yet the diagonal(s) help move your eye through the image.
