I spent 3 hours with those birds today, it was fun to watch them to dive, swim or even slide,
Dipper is one of the most entertaining birds to watch, hope you like it, C&C welcome!

Verdon, I really like your colors and composition, and I like the way the top of the water looks. The bird looks very clear in this small version.

Great detail, Verdon. Nice low angle too. I wouldn't mind if the rock in the background were a bit farther back to get a little more separation from the subject. Well done! :toast:

Nice detail in this dipper, Verdon. Very nice light. I have mixed emotions regarding the specular highlights in the background. They do convey the fact that there is water back there, but they seem to pull my eyes away from the dipper. Very nice image as posted.

Great low POV image Verdon. I do not mind the rock at all because it shows the environment of the Dipper and tells a little about its behavior. Great image.

The bird looks great and I love those golden colors Verdon, I'd take a little off the top and add some more on the bottom if you have it there. :toast:

Sweet photo of this nice looking dipper, which looks surprisingly dry. I like your water level perspective, I'm with Nate on his crop suggestion or perhaps a pano-crop might look interesting? Nice Work Verdon!!!
