I always get excited when the creeks and streams start opening up in the spring. Most days, you can find me prowling the banks is search of any interesting composition I might spot. I like this one for the red pebbles and the movement of the moss. Critiques most welcome. Thanks for looking.

I like the view through the water here Nancy... the dark diagonal in the upper left and the red are nice. I actually like that upper left portion of this one the most. I might pull back the yellow a little or cool the white balance slightly.

I like the rain glass kind of look to this. Nice colors dappled throughout the frame. I might even try to enhance the effect some in post and see what happens.

I like the abstract and colorful look here, Sandy. The scene is very straight forward and I cannot suggest anything to improve the image.

Really like the reds and warm tones throughout and the abstract nature of the stones. I could see upping the contrast and trying to further bring out the 'abstractness' of these rocks. Just a thought and really nice as is.

Nancy Lea,

I have always enjoyed - and continue to enjoy your abstract stream image. This one is no exception although this may not compete with some of your best, but that's not really relevant, scratch that. ;-) The large version is so much more vibrant and appealing compared to this version. I like the natural coloration and the "jeweled" look. I also think you made a good crop selection.

I like this one a lot. I'm wondering if you have somewhere online to view all these as a collection? If you don't, I think you should!
