This is from later in the evening as my last post, well after the sun had set and only the last bit of warmth from the sun remained on the horizon. As always thanks for taking peek and leaving a comment.

Nice shot Kurt. I like the comp. and the reflection in the water. Too bad the sky wasn't lit up a little more. You might want to try to crop a little of the sky off too focus more on the good light.

I think I like this better. Foreground is a bit simpler and more graphic. Wonderful color and detail.

I just love it when simplicity works powerfully, like here. Where there is power in the subtle understated work. :toast:

I really like the tranquil mood of this scene, Kurt. The graphic lead-in lines of the shoreline rocks draw me right into those vivid colors in the water and that of the sky. What do you think of a small crop from the top? For me that showcases the rich colors a bit more. Just a suggestion of course. :toast:

Both work very well for me, Kurt, and I have a hard time picking a favorite. I slightly prefer the foreground of this shot to the other, but the other shot has the benefit of showing the full sunset glow across the distant mountains. You've probably been thoroughly congratulated on the write-up in this month's OP, but I read it over the weekend and believe it presents your approach to photography and your work in a very positive (and well deserved) light.

Love the quiet, peaceful feel to your image, Kurt. The design in the rock in the foreground is wonderful and works perfectly in your composition. Gorgeous.

Another great shot Kurt, the comp of this one is just as strong as your previous post, hard to pick a favorite between the two.. :toast:
