Yellow Dahlia

Another flower image from my last summer trip to Europe. Dahlia is very common flower in European gardens from North to South and from East to West. I used my 90mm macro lens. Without having a tripod I was forced to hold camera free in my hands, that why I decided for fast, 1/400sec, speed and rather open aperture, F/3.5, to blur the BG.

Love the color and the detail in the flower. Very nice. Image would be better if the bottom wasn't cut off. Might work better in a square format. Thanks for posting this.

Very nice specimen Miro. The light is strong, but seems to work well.

Lovely, natural feel to this, Miro. I think you've done a great job on the colour given the strong light.

Nice flower and bg. The strong light gives a cheerful sunny day feel to this image.
