I'm always fascinated by the flow of the extraordinary secondary petals of the iris in which the stamens hide

As good as it gets.... a superb capture! I can see no nits...only a creamy flowing flower with sharpness to satisfy those who, like me, appreciate the finer details of the flower. Worth mentioning is your b/g and framing. It adds another dimension to help lift the flower into the viewers vision.

Another of your lovely iris vignettes. Expertly done, Ian. The gradient in the lower RHC really helps the balance.

Another beauty Ian. The 'fog' helps to create a paint with pastel colors. Splendid.
Take care.

Fantastic comp and the vignetting works so well, but the leaf of the left is bothering me. :wavey:

I find iris very hard to find a good angle on - you do it effortlessly.
Love the soft colours, nice detail, comp and presentation - all top-notch.

Always love to see your Iris shots Ian. This is superb processing, and I enjoy the green fading into the lower RHC.

Lovely Ian. In addition to the flowing lines of the iris itself, I like the framing and gradient of the background. Well done!
