This is the daughter of one of the DVMs at the veterinary clinic where my spouse works. We had a little portrait session on Sunday morning. I spent about a half hour with her which is way too long for a child this age. Didn't try to pose her, just turned her loose and let her do her thing, with a bit of wrangling when she wanted to wander off. This is the very first photograph I made of her. She was a real trooper through it all, but at the end her smile was much diminished.

Very beautiful portrait, Buck! I'm sure the parents will cherish that picture. I'm not a real fan of high-key treatments but it worked very nicely in this photo to help all your focus be on the child and that precious face rather than the background, clothes, colors, etc.

Beautiful portrait, Buck. The high key presentation is excellent.
