My second scanned image. Still learning about composing on the scanner. Intial observations are comps are the toughest. In post, balancing the light and managing tonalty (especially anything yellow) is the next challenge.

This is awesome Bob! The composition, glance at the internals, and the yellow colored tulip in the center and the dissapearing stems are perfect.
Well crafted image.

Excellent result. What scanner do you use? How did you remove the petals so cleanly? Wonderful colours.

This one work really well Bob. Nice management of tones and a very nice comp. To be completely nit-picky, getting that last stem in closer to the others would be nice; but that is VERY minor.

Very assured, Bob ! Love the concept, which seems to suggest the large scale production of tulips in the greenhouses; lovely lighting too.

This is really pretty with the blue against the black. Not sure I know what you mean by a "scanned" image. Is that a special technique? Very nice.

A beautifully designed comp, Bob! The lighting from the scanner definitely has a unique look, and I really like it-- showed off well, here. I'd say, " You're learnin' GOOD!

Bob, I like the arrangement, with the yellow flower in the center....I guess I expected some kind of progression because of the arrangement, but this works well for me

Bob, you are right on target about scanned images. I, too, find that composition is the most challenging and I'm learning what colors work best. Love the colors and tones and very fun composition. There is no end to the possibilities. Can't wait to see more. Good job.

Delightful! Tulips lend themselves to such interesting displays...and this takes the crown! Anything with stems...multiples ...are wicked to find how to terminate their end points. Fade to black works. I might pull the far righty a bit tighty to match the others...seems alone. Would love to see this with orange and blue tulips. Ken S
