This is a small lake in the western part of switzerland. Especially in wintertime the frozen lake is very photogenic. I took this one a few days after christmas on a cold morning.

Techs:Nikon D700,AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm f/4G ED VR @26mm,Iso:200 ,3sec, f11,ND Grad Filter 0.6 hard(Lee)

Bill, What a beautiful winter scene! I love that early morning light and color. Really nice detail and texture in the foreground snow and grass too. It really is beautiful with a wonderful feel! Excellent work!
I wondered why you put this in the M&N gallery but then saw the fence.

I am curious about what kind of animal tracks those are.
Lovely, cold colors and a nice, crisp feel to this. It's amazing how something simple like a lake's edge can be so pretty. It's those grasses!

Bill, this is a very appealing composition for me, wonderful natural colors and delightful details. It makes me feel like standing in the middle of the scene.

Lovely warm colors and a beautiful scene. Still looks very cold-- brrr. The grasses (reeds?) through the center are the over-the-top touch for me.
