Dark Eyed Junco

Have been taking part in the Great Backyard Bird Count this weekend, and set up some perches by the feeders hoping to get a few shots. There was a group of 12 Juncos, mostly feeding on the ground. But I got lucky and had a few stop by this perch. I ended up with 23 species to report just from my backyard.

I'd like to see a little more to the left of the tail, otherwise a great shot.

Good detail, pose and background, the larger image shows the junco well. I go back and forth on the perch as one side is dark and the other bright to draw you away from the bird. A horizontal's image might work or maybe only show the darker side of the perch when photographing. Way to go on getting 23 species from your back yard.
