Things are a little slow around here (it's off-season for flora/macro for me), so I went back to last fall for this one. Taken in my front yard. This is a two image blend using helicon. Nikon D700, 180 macro, polarizer, f4.5, iso 200, 1/8 sec. Larger image included. Comments welcome.

Impressed by the composition and great background. Wow, f 4.5! Never thought one could achieve the great of DOF, even with this image.

Thanks, Ken. As noted in the original post, this is a two image blend using Helicon Focus, which allowed for a bit more DOF at the plane of focus.

Great capture, Scott. The leaf is a novel, but wonderful addition to the dew covered web.

I especially like the leaf with its textures & varied colors Scott, & the dew soaked web adds great interest.
Well done!
