This is the common scene in lakes of Kashmir, India. For a change this image is done in the lake near Munnar, Kerala. I had limitations in placing boats as they were standstill. It would have been better if jetty was pointing towards boat.

Requesting your suggestions to improve myself.

I like the atmosphere you have created in this image. The comp. and colors are nice. The fog adds to the image.

Nice scene, nice light. Great potential here, but I think your own analysis is correct. Actually, I'd probably walked up the jetty to get those poles in the foreground and the leaves of the tree at the top - all silhouetted of course. Also, the shot looks a bit soft, I don't think you sharpened this?

I love the mood and the scene. The fog adds a lot to the scene. It also looks for me a bit soft.

Nice mood and light you captured here Venugopal. The fog really adds an interesting element to this scene.

Love the fog rising off the water with the warm sun light reflecting. The blue parts of the sky look a little strange. Maybe just a little too cyan.

Thanks a ton for appreciation. Special thanks to Marsel and Philip for comments.
As of now for sharpening I did 1) convert to lab color
2) select lightness channel
3) sharpen by 90% amount on '1.2 radius and '0' threshold
4) convert it back RGB
5) reduce image to 1100 pixels (on higher sde)
6) convert it to JPG under Web options.
I really do not where I am going wrong in sharpening. Please suggest.
