This shot was taken at the beautiful Bruce Peninsula, Ontario in a stormy morning, minutes before the sunrise. I did selective sharpening to get the details of the rocks in this shot. For me the smooth water and clouds against the sharp features of the rock, provided the necessary contrast for this shot. Would love to know your views on this. C&C appreciated.

Karthick, I like the sharp and soft contrast. I love the way the rocks look like they are surrounded in fog and the colors are beautiful and add to the mystery and feel of the photo. I'm not sure about the comp. I think the large dark rock in the center keeps my eye there too long. Nice job overall!

Karthick, your minimalistic approach really adds another dimension to this scene for me. The detailed textures of the rocks make for nice focal points to my eye.

Despite the interesting colors, an additional b&w conversion would also be interesting in my opinion. This might simplify your message even more by a higher degree of abstraction - just my personal thoughts.

wonderful combination of textures and the rocks add just enough warmer tones to balance the blue/greens nicely.
