... and Mommy says wer'e cute. Well I think so too. Shot at a local nest . What a perfect nest sight too. Did you notice the little flower growing in the corner? Got my MIII back from Canon and forgot to Enable my microadjustmet. I think it made a difference in the sharpness but I think I just got away with it. WDYT? The lighting here is very hard , Shady tree side lighting thru the branches. Used some fill

What do I think? I think you are passionate about what you do and it shows...in a very big way!!
You adapted to the not so great shooting conditions, and pulled it off nicely IMHO.
Love the caption, and "Mommy says we're cute" of course:biggrin:
I just wish this was mine!:toast: :toast:

In owls its all about the eyes -- here we have three sets of eyes all pointing at the camera -- all showing a catchlight. Good POV as the owl nests I have seen are high in the scrag nests of eagles. Good job on what can be a tough shot -- and I the flower is a neat extra

This is SUPER cute Cheryl:biggrin:

An awesome family protrat, the expession on those youngsters faces is to die for. Excellent composition, detail and effective flash work. That little bit of a spring bloom on the right side is a big bonus. Sweet Image :toast:

Wonderful family portrait Cheryl, you can just sense Mom's pride in showing off her prizes. The comp is super, especially the moss framing the two sides of the nest, and the detail looks good despite the microadjustment issues.

I think I would LOVE to have an image like this! The fill flash looks good, not over-cooked. Congrats on getting this!
