While primarily a nutre photographer I have really gotten into HDR's of old things and interiors of buildings. I am fortunate to have access to the inside with a tripod. I really like to push the envelope when processing and this was a 7 image HDR processed in Photomatix with additional adjustments in CS5.

Very colorful and detailed, Roman. The HDR worked well here. Thanks for sharing.

This is the way HDR should be used imo. Excellent work of art!

This knocks my socks off. Love the angle so that we can see just a glimpse of the beautiful lawn/garden outside, and imagine how pretty the rest is. What an amazing room! I can't stop looking at your larger image. There is just so much for the eyes to take in. So many details and work that went into this space.

Fascinating image. :toast:

Thanks all! Rebecka, the person who built the castle was quite the character! This room is "tame" compared to some of the others that I will post in the future...hard to believe but an extraordinary place!

I love the way you do these HDR photos. I totally agree with Morris. After seeing another photo you had posted from this castle, I decided to go there and take some myself. (My brother lives near the castle and I visit him every October.) But they won't let "regular" people in with a tripod. You must be "special" and I'm not.

I'm not expert at all on these kind of images, but I feel that each element of this one is perfect: composition, perspective and processing job- My congrats, Fabio

Very nice scene - and well seen - Roman. I think this is a great use of HDR, but I do find this a little to flat and overdone. I think some increased contrasts and darkening of some areas would serve this a little bit better - it looks a little plastic and painterly right now. Not a lot - but I think it could be made more "real".
