Well, I keep finding myself at this location... it's just so fun to shoot and you usually end up with something decent! It's like an old friend... it's always there and almost always nice to me!

blended in an additional image focused on the ice which was about 6 inches away from the camera. Also worked the original raw file a couple of times to hold highlights and shadows.

The sky light and reflection are wonderful Wayne. The icy form is a wonderful lead into the scene.

Very nice Wayne - I like the large dynamic range and little details in the ice.

Nice. This feels like home. I like the sweeping curve of the ice, and the colors. Crisp and clean and lovely. 30 seconds? Wow. And 3 filters. Man, you put a lot of effort into this!
I really like that detail in the ice in the FG; I think the effort there was worth it. Nicely done.

Absolutely stunning image! Beautiful composition and colors and I love the contrast between sharp details and blurred clouds.

Beautiful detail throughout. The contrast between the sharp peaks and the motion-blurred clouds sings. Very nice

Wayne, nice comp & colors in the clouds. I especially like the movement conveyed in the clouds with the slower SS.

I certainly know the "old friend" feeling, and this place obviously has a lot of possibilities. The ice framing the reflection make for a strong focal point. Could maybe see burning down the light colors in the sky to bring out the light colors better.

This is really nice, Wayne. Wonderful light, colors and reflection. I especially like the the looks of the edge of the ice and how it leads you back in to the image. Nice work!

Gorgeous scene Wayne, I find my self going back to the same location all the time. My place is Emerald Bay at Tahoe. I like the low angle in your composition, the clouds are a bonus.
