The Secret Fall

I found this lovely waterfall a few years ago in a small gorge in Engadin, Switzerland. It was a late afternoon, and the shade was perfect for a nice long exposure waterfall image.

Thank you for your comments!

Beautiful image. I think you really nailed the shutter speed on this, the water looks great. I really like the grasses on either side of the falls. If I had to nit I would suggest burning the rock in the bottom left corner. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Andrew, you have an eagle-eye! You are right. I have a wider angle version, where that rock is more distracting, and I did darken it. Here I just did not bother with it yet.

That's really nice. I like how you've balanced out the light, colors, and contrasts here so that I focus on following the water through the scene.

I like the flow of the water under and around the falls. The big rock in the center does feel a bit centered but not sure what you could have done about that if anything. You exposure and shutter speed was spot on! A very nice image.

Thanks Richard. About the big rock: I've tried to move it, but I forgot to take my magic potion.
Anyway, this was the main view there, not much space to move. I think that rock makes this image work.
