One of my favorite subjects and you did her real proud! If you have more, it's just a little tight top and bottom...could even go portrait with this. Nice! Sharon

A great look at this bird Howard. I love the BG and snow on the twigs. I like it as posted, but also wonder what it would look like in a more vertical comp.

Beautiful bird. I like the puffed up chest. There is something special about cardinals in the snow and I like this particular image. I agree with the vertical crop.

Howard-this is something I expect to see here in the Northeast, but in Southern New England we have no snow! A very nice 'seasonal' image-great detail and I like the the perch, especially the snow on the twigs. Enjoy the weekend!

Love her! Great pose, nice perch and BG, and the bits of snow are delightful.
I'm also wonderfing about a vertical comp since it could use a bit more on top and bottom, imo - great as is, but..

Our local Cardinals in my part of AZ don't even know what the white stuff is! Beautiful shot, nice detail & lovely lighting!

You're getting more snow in Texas than us here in the midwest, this is a strange year. She is a beauty, Howard. Nice pose and really nice detail. Maybe just a tad tight top and bottom.

A lovely image. Very delicate look from the soft pastels and the light. N ow if it would only snow here in Phoenix!

Howard, this is really nice. I love the pose and the soft pastel colors, the snow adds to this image alot. I think it is great as posted but agree with some of the others that it could use some more room.

Perfect imho. One of my all time favorite species, especially the female. Understated in comparison to the male but beautiful. Very rarely do I see them out in the open on a nice perch. Great capture!

Sweet, Howard. Great job handling the snow, considering you so rarely see it! The bg is gorgeous and the Cardinal is perfect.

I like this one. the feeling is of real cold. If it was mine i would have put the cardinal a bit on the right or i would have given him more room on the left and on the bottom: to me the tail is a bit too closed to the frame.
Thumb up anyway, Luca.

Howard this is simply exquisite. A very natural, elegant portrayal of a beautiful bird. I can't add anything to what's been said, and wouldn't change a thing personally. Techs and processing look perfect as usual. Just beautiful.
