The colors on this Tri Colored Heron seemed a bit muted to me so I decided to bring them up a notch. :eek:

I used several Nik and Topaz filters to get to this calculated (ha!) result.

Great work Carol. The heron's coloring and detail are super. I'm not that wild about the BG. I think I'd prefer something a little more natural and less wallpaperish (if that's a word), but that's purley subjective.

The details in the bird and it's pumped up colors are a fine artistic rendition. To me the background feels like backlit leaves in a forest.
