Plitvice National Park, Croatia.
The swirl of leaves was too slow to be visible to the naked eye. It was quite a surprise seeing the movement on the camera display after the 30sec exposure.

Nice movement and wonderful range of greens. Beautiful falls. The band of reflected sky (?) laid across the whirlpool detracts a bit ,IMO, but it's certainly not an image killer. Great location.

This is real nice, Rainer. I like the movement of the leaves and feel it is just about right . . . more movement would have overpowered the background, and less would not have had the same level of impact. As presented, it adds a powerful element to a very beautiful scene.

Nancy, this is not the reflected sky. This is a band of bright sand on the ground of the pool!

This one is especially interesting for me as I never realized that the leaves are going in a circle there. Lovely capture of this place, Rainer.

Rainer, I really like your perspective here w/ the water so close in the foreground. The leaves swirling around and coming back to the multiple water cascades really hold your attention visually. Love the colors too!

That's a great swirl reminding me of star trails! Beautiful tones throughout.

Absolutely fantastic! The combination of the landscape, light, colors, and designs is just a feast for the eyes. One of the more beautiful and intriguing images I've seen of late.

I like everything about it! that has to be the biggest swirl I've seen posted on here. I wish you had a wider version so we could see just how bog the swirl is.

I think this is awesome Rainer. Feels a bit tight at the top, but I am sure there was a reason for that. What an incredible place.

This is really interesting Rainer. I like how the center of the leaf swirl draws the eye to the falls. I would like to see some more space above the falls to give a little breathing room, but perhaps there were some distracting elements up there that you needed to exclude.

I really like this image. It seems otherworldly to me. The glowing green sand beneath the water in the center of the image does a lot for this composition, by tying the foreground and background together. You might also try to crop it more like a panorama, keeping only the upper 50-60% of the frame. Fantastic image!
