Oh, this is beautiful. I love the elements of this flower and the softness and sharpness of the image, the colors and the light and the composition.

I agree with Barbara all the way. The colors of yellow, green and white work so well for me.

Lovely sunburst on a cloudy day. The details in the top of the center are really amazing and there's a really nice flow across the frame.

I've been hearing this called "The winter that wasn't", interesting weather patterns. This is absolutely stunning. I can't resist the white/yellow color combination and the accent of green balances it perfectly. Beautiful image.

No poppies here yet Sandy , but I do miss them ! Beautifully seen and composed ! I am not sure where winter is but at least this year when it does show it won't be for seven months like last year !!! Enjoy your breathe of spring, Happy Shooting!

Sandy: One of my favorite subjects and IMO a very compelling comp. Beautiful details in the larger version especially. 2 thumbs up! >=))>

Everything thing is first-rate. Colors, dof, subject and especially the comp, with the flow from the LLC.

Original composition, Sandy, which works well for me. Lovely yellows and a very appropriate frame.

This is beautiful, Sandy! Well done comp, lighting, and colors. The details of the center are wonderful with a nice soft feel in the overall photo. Interesting view of the inside of an interesting flower. Just a stunning photo overall!
No winter really in our area of the country either. No snow and very little ice; makes for limited "winter" shots.

Sandy, Really brightens my day in Wisconsin with no color in sight . Love that composition pushing the center of the poppy to the corner - really works well and one of my favourite compositions also

Wonderful comp Sandy! I really like the detail in the area of focus, then the softness in the petals.
